I don't come from a sales background or see myself as a salesman, but rather as a real estate information consultant. I come from a long background in Computer Information Systems and Software Development. I have a B.S. in Computer Science and a M.S. in Decision and Information Systems, graduating Summa Cum Laude in both. I spent over 20 years as an information systems professional and software engineer with Hewlett-Packard and several startups, including co-founding and developing AlwaysOnVacation.com. With over 30 years of computer, software and information management experience, I understand how to use them to your advantage, whether marketing your property for sale or helping find, analyze and negotiate a purchase.
I have been a real estate investor since 1990. I often felt in working with real estate agents, that I could do their job better for myself. So many of them lacked computer and information skills. I bought and sold several properties by owner in Idaho before becoming a REALTOR®. I got my real estate license in 2009 and I put my skills to work for others. There is a lot to know. I have experience with waterfront and secondary waterfront property, commercial, residential, rental income property and vacant land, docks, wells and septic systems.
I work with residential clients as well as investors. I have personally rolled my retirement plans (past 401k and IRA accounts) into a "self-directed IRA" to be able to have more control over my retirement investments and diversify with real estate investments with the same advantages of an IRA or 401k, without penalties. I can help you learn how to do the same.
